How are plantation shutters measured?

Shutter panels are made to the opening rather than cut down from a standard size, so each window is measured individually. Openings in the same house are rarely identical, which is why the measure happens before anything is ordered.

Can shutters fit arched or angled windows?

Shutter panels can be made for arched, angled and bay openings as well as standard rectangles. Which shapes are workable depends on the specific opening, so it is confirmed at the measure.

What is the difference between shutters and blinds?

Shutters are rigid panels fixed into the window frame with louvers that tilt. Blinds are slats or fabric on a cord or wand that raise and stack at the top. Shutters stay in place and frame the window, blinds pull out of the way.

What louver size should I choose?
